Stampede is a summer Salinas romaine lettuce variety with high resistance to Impatiens Necrotic Spot Virus* (INSV). The variety exhibits high resistance to Downy Mildew and Tomato Bushy Stunt Virus (TBSV), as well as intermediate resistance to Fusarium Wilt race 1. Stampede romaine is a multi-purpose variety well-suited for carton, hearts and processing applications. Stampede has an upright plant habit with a nice shape and attractive bottom quality with smooth and straight ribs. It demonstrates great bolting tolerance for warmer growing periods.
